Adam's Best Man speech...well put...we laughed and we cried!
Evan and Adam
"It's about time Evan admitted I was the Best Man!" said Adam to start off his speech.

It was a beautiful wedding and we are so excited that Amy has officially joined the family and will nolonger deal with the confusion of being the "friend, girlfriend and daughter" all at the same time!

Getting Ready to Be Wed!

So the wedding day started off at the hair salon where we all had our hair perfectly quaffed.

Here's the bride having the perfect wedding day do done!

Then it was back to the house for makeup...done by none other than MY MOM!

Here's the finished product...Mom, you should go into business! Everyone always winds up looking so glamorous!
Time for the VEIL! If she didn't look like a bride already...she certainly does now.
Then it was off to the church to get dressed.

A fun moment between the Bride and her bridesmaids as she shows off the garter.
We're about to become SISTERS! I couldn't have asked for a better sister-in-law, SERIOUSLY!

...and BEAUTIFUL TOO!
We were finally ready to begin.

Evan and Amy's prewedding festivities

So after dating for around SEVEN years, Evan and Amy's wedding weekend finally arrived!
Adam arrived in town early in the week and I got in Thursday night. So Friday morning the girlie preparations began and while Adam was doing Best Man duties, the ladies were off the nail salon for some beautifing and pampering.
Once the nails were done, we all had our jewelry cleaned with the bride, though the main objective was for her diamond to be at its peak of sparkliness. Then one last stop to pick up my bridesmaid dress and hope it fit since it was the day before and even though the shop promised to perform a quick miracle if I needed alterations I was still hoping it would just fit to begin with and IT DID! YAY! Amy had a good feeling about it and her feeling was right!
That night we all gathered for the rehearsal. Here I am with my soon-to-be sister-in-law. :)
Here's all the bridesmaids. What a fun group of girls I must say!
The rehearsal went off without a hitch and was probably the quickest rehearsal I have ever attended! We were done with plenty of time to hang out before dinner. The happy couple at the rehearsal dinner! Aren't they cute!?
A couple family shots.

Definately one of my favorite moments of the night... Evan recieved his dowry...

A Pig, A Goat and A Cow!Amy got all the bridesmaids cute wedding day kits in totes that had each of our initials on them, so of course we got creative and tried to spell words out...

Here's us spelling A-M-Y...Amy is the Y! Aren't we oh so clever... or at least we think we are.
The boys had a great time making fun of our girlie photo shots with our totes, so they tried to do the same thing in their ever so feminine way...but in the end this shot captured the good lookin' group of guys and was much better.

A visit with Brent, Tricia and Bronson

While we were in Virginia Beach for Evan and Amy's wedding, we got lucky since our visit coincided with the Roth's trip to Lynchburg. So they stopped in Virginia Beach after driving a long portion of their trip to have lunch with me and Adam. It was my first chance to finally meet their little man, Bronson and what an absolute sweetheart he is!Bronson being tickled by Uncle Adam.
Brent wanted to know when we were planning to get on the children bandwagon...not for a few more years guys!
Tricia and I hanging out with her little guy in his Elmo PJs.

Brent washing showing us how he makes Bronson jog. It was adorable!

One proud Uncle!

We thank everyone who's been praying for Bronson. He's not quite out of the woods yet, so please keep him in your prayers.

The Dean's Wedding

The Dean's had a BEAUTIFUL wedding down in Charleston, SC.
It could not have been more perfect and more them! The bride was absolutely breathtaking.
Here's the bride and the groom, Lindsey and Darren.
I know they will be so happy together for the rest of their lives!

Here I am with one of my best friends, Linds.

CONGRATS from one married lady to another!

Maid of Honor giving her toast and reminding Linds of happy memories, like OSL...And the traditional cutting of the cake and feeding it to each other.
They were very nice to each other!

A sentimental dance with the father of the bride.
The tossing of the bouquet, caught by Haley!

Will she be the next to wed?!
Hunting for the garter...there were actually two!
The wedding cake was made of funfetti cake mix!
The OSL bridesmaids and my sister.

The Herndons and the Deans,
a shot to add to our friend's wedding day picture collection.

The OSL crew all together to celebrate Lindsey and Darren's day of holy matrimony.
It was a beautiful day and quite the celebration.

Congrats again to the newly weds, Lindsey and Darren Dean.

The Rehearsal Dinner

OSL strolling right down the street to the beach house where the rehearsal dinner was held, just a block away from the beach house we rented.

The dinner was a barbeque on the beach along with a low country boil. Delicious!

Here's everyone chowing down right on the beach.

It was a really pretty night for a dinner right on the beach.
My mom, Anna, Adam and me...my family who were in town for the wedding.

The OSL married couples and soon to be newly weds.
OSL enjoying the beach with a little goofiness.
A sentimental OSL moment withe bride...

followed by a big group hug!
