Adam's 27th birthday happened to fall on a Wednesday, so he had the pleasure of celebrating with the entire youth group. They surprised him when they broke out into song and presented him with two birthday cakes. Angie baked the pink one because as she said, "It's Adam's favorite color." Adam preached on Elisha and then there was plenty of cake to go around.
After the service a group of us headed to Applebee's for a late night dinner and birthday celebration. 
Overall, I think Adam would say it was a chill yet festive birthday!
